Before I forget all about the Trip
•May 26, 2007 • Leave a CommentFinally a working Offline WordPress Client.
•May 25, 2007 • Leave a CommentAfter googling around for a couple hours I finally found a client that will post offline entries to my wordpress.com blog. BloGTK is the software I use for Linux, specifically Ubuntu Feisty Fawn.
After finding the right software, it wasn’t really hard to setup providing IRC be the verdict for instruction.
For anyone who needs a username.wordpress.com offline client for Ubuntu here are the instructions to install the software;
- sudo apt-get install BloGTK providing you have the ___ repository enabled.
- a prompt will come up, type your root password for the machine, the packages will install.
- once finished, you’ll find the program in the Internet tab in the Ubuntu menu. Click on it.
- the program will start, click, “edit.” Then, “Accounts and Settings…”
- in the, “Account Settings,” tab – “Server IRL:” type; “http://blognamegoeshere.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php” and the following, your log in information.
One more thing, once you’ve finished your first blog entry, make sure you check off, “Publish Entry,” so the entry will publish.
- click connect in the File meny, and post the entry.
Go to “File>Connect” Once the connection has been established you’ll be able to blog your heart out. It will say if you have the wrong details. Evidently it’s quite easy to do, I just wrote it in a lot of detail because people who lack knowledge like I once did will be able to do it.
There are many options, as it seems your possibilities are endless.
Thanks, and good luck

Weirdest Dream
•February 27, 2007 • Leave a CommentI never dream, and finally I did about something, actually two things I’ve never done and never will do.
So, I’m in this monk monestary with my nephew, not sure why. But we just ended up there. This building had a lot of closest space, very clean and simplistic.
Distracted from looking around the place, my nephew took off. I hear this monk debating with this woman, I go closer, and he starts beating her, me with a stave in hand stopped what was happening. Nor did I say anything, or thinking twice, but I beat the crap out of him, and he ended up in a closet.
After a few moments, someone called him. He ended getting up and and ran to whoever it was. Which gave me time to find my nephew before it started to go wild in there.
Finding my nephew out back of the place talking to this old monk about staves and its form. Rudely I interrupted them, “Hey, we have to go.” I didn’t tell him why, but we had to leave.
Going back into the building, trying to find out way to the front. We finally ended up outside.
I see this brown 1970’s chevy van with windows. Opening the sliding door, threw him in. So, abruptly as I did, I see my Mom and Harley my dog sitting in the first back seat of the vehicle!! Once the door closed the person driving the van backed it up, and we drove out of there as fast as we could.
Then, I must of got spooked while I was dreaming and woke up, because I started on another one…
So, walking down beechwood, one of my old paper route streets. on connaught ave. The streets were a bit displaced and laid out different. Connaught lead me to a dead end with some sort of big apartment there where the open lot was. Which was an old gas station which was bought down by huge machinery years ago.
Running around the block for some exercise, I see this dude standing around in front of this building, talking into this thing with earbuds on, one of those small scanners. You use them to either pick-up other peoples phone calls and you can hear/talk into them. Anyway, the dude took off his boots, and the earbuds and placed the scanner on the ground and went into the building. I decided, well he threw them on the ground, I’m going to scoop it up and run. So I get there, and the damned earbuds were tied to the laces of the boots. I just unplugged the earbugs and took off as fast as I could almost leaving a smoke trail behind from the treads of my shoes.
I get home without no one noticing, except my nephew who’s in my room doing whatever. I said, “Hey, I have something that you may like.” “What is it?” he replied. “A scanner where you can scan phones, and other lines so you can tap into them.” Not very amused at all, he was like, “oh ok, what do you expect me to do with that?” he said. Replying, “Well, if you don’t have any interest in it, you can sell it in Caledonia, where you live? That, or when you get home smash it up, and say nothing to no one.” He turned it on in my room, and the damned thing turned onto two people talking. “Man, someone stole it, however they did. It was fast as hell, and I don’t know how they did it?” So without even thinking twice, I turned it off, thinking it had some sort of infrared tracking device on it.
After that, I was woken up by a snowplow outside plowing the snow we have left this yesterday’s small snowstorm, which freaked me out.
Glad those dreams are over because for one. I would never steal anything, and for two, I would never hit a monk or get into that type of confliction. But a monk would never hit anyone, unless it was in self defense, if that.
The dreams felt so real, but intrigued by the detail, I woke up, and told myself that I would never do that and I wouldn’t because I believe in Karma.
Maybe this dream I had was sent to me from someone as a test or preparation, and I horribly failed. But it could be a test in many ways. Either dreaming of something of this such, and seeing if I would implement it in real life. Which I wouldn’t, because I’ve never stolen in my life and don’t plan to, even if I was the poorest person.
My plan in the future is to be successful, but not financially. It can be done, it’s which goals you want to proceed in doing.
Richard Stallman, 22 years ago did it and his dream he calls his baby is still active today and growing rapidly, FSF. Growing, and competing with Micosoft which are a huge corporate money making business.
But my ways, I don’t want to be another fork in some other run off to a different road. I want to become a monk, a person that thrives on dignity, and not living off the legal tender of today.
But yeah, that’s it for today.

Global Warming
•February 21, 2007 • Leave a CommentDo you think it’s just a hoax?
Not only surface temperatures are rising, but the fluctuation in general. The other day it was 10C, when day turned to night, it went up to -10c, then, back down to -1C during the day, seasonal temperatures should be around -18C. Which makes a huge difference in average temperature which means green house gases are on the rise. But as many know, it’s been a topic for a few years now.
Global emissions make due to sophisticated change to habitat, patterns of precipitation, and rising sea levels, let alone more disease, global extinction, and extreme weather.
CO2 is composed of one carbon and two oxygen atoms with low concentration. Let alone we produce it, but many other non-habitual things do as well; erupting volcano’s, chemical reactions between a fuel and an oxidant which produces heat or flame, or both.
Ethanol might be a remedy but isn’t the solution because it contains so many parts per litre of petroleum & water. Ethanol has a 34% more consumption rate more than petro. Ethanol mixtures can be from 2% water. equal to or more than 71% ethanol, the remainder proportions of either water or gasoline. Newer automobiles should be considered Ethanol, but there are many other factors; Older vehicles not required an emission test in Canada, and don’t have the required capabilities to run an Ethanol based fuel system due to not having fuel ejection.
Pure Ethanol when distilled is Moonshine as many would say quite the contrary to mobility and efficiency.
Not only do we make use of fossil fuels that pollute the air, but we as human, animals alike (amphibians too) use processes of Aerobatic Respiration and Anaerobic respiration which require dissipation of CO2 s a normal function of the respiratory system. High energy carriers store fuel molecules as they release and generate oxidant energy.
Aerobic respiration requires oxygen which require exhaustion though metabolic reactions and processes. Glucose, amino acids and fatty acids are required for respiration through carbolic reactions in metabolism.
Anaerobic respiration contains a homologous series process without oxygen that is organically compound. Rather a fermentation of processing energy. A metabolic pathway, Glycolysis: 6-carbon glucose molecule oxidized to two molecules of pyruvic acid which produce high energy molecules. Pyruvic, plays a huge role in biochemistry processes which is a colourless liquid, which smells.
Water and Pyruvic acid will mix together well, forming a single homogeneous liquid called, ethanol. Homologous series, a series of organic compounds with a similar general formula.
I conclude myself in saying we need a better remedy to be the cause of the solution, not something as of equality, like burning fossil fuels. But use of our non-combustible natural resources which include; wind, water, sun, weight and friction/movement ratio. We have more than enough resources to do it, and our recycling processes would enable us to reduce emissions like they have for a few years now. As of right now, we’re consuming more of a quantity because of population growth and ecological stature due to global warming and fitting our individual needs. We need to think as one, and prepare ourselves for sustainability to live longer and use our resources more efficiently. Cut fossil fuel usage because we as humans, and mammals produce green house emissions without even using petroleum, or ethanol or any fossil fuels for that matter. If we can communicate to the masses, we can use mass transportation.

Th3 Computer I will Build!
•January 19, 2007 • Leave a CommentThe last days I’ve been debating on whether I should do with my income tax money that I will get this year from the gov’t, since I will be filing soon.
People always say, ‘It takes money to make money,’ and that’s what I want to do. Since never building a computer by myself, this will be a really good challenge, and good focus to keep costs to a minimal, yet have some good hardware.
So, I’ve been looking around 3 websites specifically to determine what it will cost, and what hardware is available to build a computer. But as we all know, there are far greater options on the internet, but with those options comes research!
I’ve searched two local website/store options, and an online option. Why are Motherboards, Processors, and Graphic Cards $10 – $15 dollars cheaper than ones locally? Does the shipment cost counteract the asking price of the website, so you think you’re getting the products cheaper? So you’re really not because, ‘they,’ as in the owners of the site calculate the ’shipping,’ before it goes in the UPS truck, or flight?
I find it kind of irrelevant they do that. But anyway, some stuff that I want the local stores don’t have, so I guess I’ll take the chance soon enough than later.
This is the start of the computer I want, so feel free to tell me what sucks, and what doesn’t. If you see something not compactible, please tell me! The computer alas:
Motherboard:
Foxconn865G7MF-SH Intel-Socket 755 MicroATX, HyperThreading Technology, 6 Channel Audio Supported, Video support is an option too. 1 AGP, 3 PCI slots, with an ethernet card, and 4 USB 2.0 ports.

Processor:

•December 20, 2006 • Leave a CommentHey,
Welcome to my Blog. I’m just currently fixing it up, and man it seems like it’s a chore. But it’s getting done, which I can’t complain.
I did have a blog up on my own server, but I decided to shut the server down due to it being winter, and I need to conserve as much cash as possible.
Anyway, stay tuned. If you’ve visited, come back again. I promise you there will be a lot more posts than this one and they will make you think. Thinking is a good thing, but potentially a bad thing as well.
Till then, keep your head up!
